CTR gap hunter

Finds queries with good positions but below-benchmark clicks, dissects competitors' live snippets next to yours, and rewrites title/description from the evidence.

Ranking well is only half the traffic story — the other half is the snippet. A query at position 3 with the CTR of position 8 loses clicks every day, and the fix is copy, not links.

This skill finds those queries and rewrites the snippet based on concrete evidence from the live results, not guesswork.

What it does

For a site connected to Yandex Webmaster, it takes queries ranking in the top 7 with enough impressions to be reliable, compares actual CTR to what's typical for that position, and flags queries where the gap is several times over, not a few percent. For the worst cases it checks the live SERP for patterns competitors use (numbers, deadlines, concrete benefits) and opens the site's own pages to see what the title and description actually say.

What you get

Per query: position, actual vs. expected CTR, estimated monthly clicks lost, the competitive evidence found, and a before/after title and description with a one-line reason for each change — plus a flag when the top results are simply a different type of page, where no snippet rewrite will help. It suggests re-checking the same queries after two weeks.

FAQ

Does it update the site's meta tags directly?
No, it proposes the rewritten title and description in chat; you or your team apply them.
What if low CTR is caused by the wrong page type ranking, not the snippet?
The skill flags this as an intent mismatch and says plainly that a snippet rewrite won't fix it.
